Meet Your Therapist
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Masters in Social Work from San Diego State University and an undergraduate degree in Special Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In our sessions, you will find a compassionate clinician who is looking to partner with you, holding space for the feelings you experience and the difficulties you may encounter when seeking change. My approach utilizes a trauma informed lens, along with being mindful of the many systems and relational dynamics that impact your situation.
While I have extensive experience in working with kids, adolescents, and families, I am equally passionate in working with individuals as they seek to understand and implement change needed to navigate life. My training and education has equipped me to treat anxiety, depression, and other symptoms resulting from life adjustments and a variety of mental health diagnoses. This eclectic approach will also address recent or past trauma as well as grief and loss, looking to find healing and a way forward. For those experiencing neurodivergence, I offer support through providing therapeutic interventions for the client, assistance for parents or couples, and collaboration with other providers as needed to achieve progress on goals.
